Silver Sage Magazine is pleased to announce that we will now occasionally publish short fiction. As with all of our other material, all fiction submissions must be written by Silver Sagers—people over forty years of age—and deal with issues of concern to Silver Sagers, though this certainly is a broad category. We are asking that the pieces be no longer than approximately 2000 words and conform to the standards set forth in our Editorial and Writing Guide, which is available upon request.
Why are we doing this? Because we feel that Silver Sagers have more on their minds and in their hearts than non-fiction and journalism can express adequately. We want to open the gates for our writers to offer to our readers insight, experiences, and life lessons on the emotional level that that only fiction can deliver.
