NPR Highlights Aging
One of my favorite stations, National Public Radio (NPR) has been hosting a series all week on various elements of aging with Terry Gross. Ms. Gross is the brilliant host and voice behind Fresh Air, a show first airing in Philadelphia in the 1970’s and now a national phenomenon. I’ve tuned in daily to hear the stories of mature adults being scammed, one woman’s struggle with her family in deciding whether her mother should have a pacemaker with advanced stage dementia and other intelligent conversations. I look forward to this morning’s conversation and as always anticipate a thoughtful and stimulating conversation to tune in to.
