It was inevitable that the Dow and global markets would tumble. In what’s known as a market correction, the sell off shows a ten percent decline in the market. But this is not as bad as it may seem. Stock market corrections are natural and a healthy part of the market and business cycle. In the last 75 years, the market has seen at least the same number of pullbacks with some averaging as high as 40 percent. This is simply a reset button. Most likely best to keep your money where it is and ride the wave. The market will return and you’ll be no less worse for the wear – minus a few more grey hairs.
