Caregiving Is Global
Caregiving is an international concern that effects people all over the world. There isn’t one county without family caregivers. How do all these nations support the needs of caregivers? The National Alliance for Caregiving (NAC) has partnered with the International Alliance of Carer Organizations (IACO). for this purpose. IACO is an international organization created to investigate and address issues of international family caregiving with the intent of increasing public awareness of the needs of the family caregiver on a global scale. Currently, 17 member nations are represented in the coalition.
The Mission of IACO is: through collaborative engagement IACO will improve the quality of life and support the needs of carers, through international partnerships and advocacy that strengthens and honors the voice of carers.

The seventeen member countries include: Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Hong Israel, Kong, India, Ireland, Japan, Nepal, New Zealand, Sweden, Taiwan, UK and the United States.
