The American Automobile Association (AAA) is reporting that we should expect lower than average prices for gas this summer averaging around $2.70/gallon. This would be an 18 cent decrease from the same time period last year (2018) according to Jeanette Casselano, AAA spokesperson. However, if the US-Iran crisis heats up or a tropical storm or hurricane shuts down any Gulf Coast refineries; gas prices could spike back up.
And the Dow closed yesterday at over 27,000 for an all time high. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell offered hints of a rate cut later this month.
