Did you know that only 15% of media images have people that are Silver Sagers even though we represent more than 33% of the United States population? And according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics (2014), we outspend other generations by more than $400 billion on goods and services each year, yet only 5% of marketing dollars are spent on Silver Sagers. Perhaps those in ad departments ought to look around at all the silver that represents gold to their companies!
